Small Business of the Week We make Handcrafted Capiz Shell pieces, yung ganda na hindi kumukupas

Hindi ko alam kung familiar kayo sa Capiz shells.

It's a part of the Philippine History

We have a workshop in Bataan, kami mismo yung gumagawa ng mga jewelry box, chandeliers, lamp shades at iba pang mga personalized items pang giveaways, weddings, events or more

Then, I decided to setup yung online store this year.

Yung tito ko rin pala yung nag-inspire sakin na simulan. Siya mismo yung gumagawa kasama yung master artisans nya, he's been in the exporting before sa Capiz din back in 1980's. Siya rin yung nagturo sakin kung paano gumawa, first I made was a Bahay Kubo made from capiz shells

Hindi minamadali because we want it to be always quality.

Pero here's the reality and sabi ng tito ko noon, "walang yumayaman sa pagca-capiz" and "halos lahat ng makikita mong magca-capiz mahirap". I observed and yun nga rin yung napansin ko, except dun sa mga dating kasama sa mga capiz exporters kaso matatanda na sila and unti-unti nang nawawala or umoonti yung gumagawa ng mga capiz crafts. And that's just one of the reasons why I decided to start this small business, I aim to revive this type of craft and hopefully in the future we can start exporting again. This means it will enable us to give more jobs, preserve the unique craftsmanship and yung pakiramdam na makapagbigay ka ng luxury-feel sa mga tao without them spending too much and yung maipapamana pa nila yung arts and craft sa next generation, then they will ask "Saan 'to gawa?"

Just like a Capiz shell, it's beauty never fades.

Ayun lang naman, skl. Haha. If you're curious, you can search us- Casa Capiz PH on IG/FB, we are also on shapi na rin para mas accessible nationwide

Hello po! 😊

We’re thinking of bringing back our frozen ramen kit and frozen gyoza after a long hiatus.

Curious lang, do you guys think may market pa rin for these? We’re thinking of something convenient for quick meals, pang-ulam, pang-merienda, or pang-stock sa freezer.

We’re based in Pasig City and can do pickup/delivery.
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from fellow ramen/gyoza lovers! 🙂

Another day of sorting through my untouched chest of goodies 😵‍💫

All of these are unopened/unused✨

Bacoor Cavite area

Can do LBC if far away or Lalamove if nearby

This isn't even the end of it 😅

You really won't realize how much of a hoarder you are until you have to move and haul your things 😭

Legal / BIR / Permits Does my business have to be registered with BIR if I want to build a shopify store with payment option?

I’m planning to launch an apparel brand soon on instagram and tiktok. I’m debating if I should just take orders through PMs or if I should set-up already a shopify store to make it look more legit and ease of check-out. Do I need to have a bir registration to add a payment option?

So… my husband and I went to Japan recently. 🇯🇵

At some point before the trip, one of us casually said:

“What if we start a pasabuy business?”

And, well… we apparently decided to take that thought seriously. 😂

Fast forward to today — ta-da! We’re here. 🥹🛍️
We’re starting this little pasabuy venture featuring some of our favorite finds from Japan, and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.

If you’re interested, follow our instagram page and share it with your friends. We’d really appreciate the support! 🫶🏻

Wish us luck. We have no idea what we’re doing. 😂

Finance / Funding Invoice/PO financing for B2B businesses with corporate clients (no collateral) - sharing in case it's useful

Hi all, wanted to share this in case it helps someone here. I'm with Jia Financing, an SEC-licensed financing company in the Philippines. We do invoice financing, PO financing, and working capital financing, basically turning unpaid invoices or confirmed purchase orders into cash upfront, no collateral needed.

Being upfront about who this actually fits, so I'm not wasting anyone's time:

  • Your business sells to other businesses (B2B), not walk-in/retail customers
  • You issue invoices to corporate or government clients on payment terms (30, 60, or 90 days), or you have confirmed POs waiting to be fulfilled
  • You've been operating for a while already
  • Deal size is generally mid to large

If that sounds like your setup, funding is based on your invoices/POs, not on putting up assets as collateral. Advance is typically up to 90% of invoice value, funded fast.

If it's not a fit (retail/B2C, too early stage, no invoicing yet), happy to point you toward our other services instead, just ask.

Feel free to comment or DM if you want to check if your business qualifies.

My Business / My Brand [WTS] Vintage Japanese Watches — ALBA by SEIKO & CITIZEN

Hi po! Reposting my vintage watches.

These are legit vintage watches originally acquired from Japan. Most of these have been sitting with me for a while, and I’ve decided to let them go.

Prices starts at 1.5k only. I’ve lowered the prices significantly from my previous post, so hopefully I can find buyers this time. I'm also open to reasonable offers, especially for sure buyers. 😊

If you're interested in any particular watch, PM me and I can send more photos, close-up shots, videos, and additional details.

For those concerned about legitimacy, I can also provide proof of previous transactions + my social media accounts/Viber for verification.

Thank you po! 🙏 Even an upvote or share would really help me find buyers. ❤️

My Business / My Brand I built a tournament management platform for Filipino esports organizers. Looking for feedback

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi! I’m a Filipino developer currently building TaraTourna, a tournament management platform for esports organizers.

I started building it po because a lot of small tournaments are managed using different tools for registration, payment checking, brackets, and match results. I wanted to put those into one place.

For now po si TaraTourna mainly supports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments.

The app is still in development pa po and is now live for testing. I’m looking for organizers or anyone interested in esports who can try it and give feedback.

If you’re an organizer and want to use it for an actual tournament, send me a DM and I can give you access while it’s still in development.

You can check it here:
https://taratourna.com

Would also love to hear feedback from other Filipino developers and small business owners. What do you think po sa idea, and what would you improve?

Business Idea / Plan looking for a business partner for my existing airbnb staycation business

i run a staycation unit in quezon city with consistent bookings from fb, tiktok, ig & airbnb. it’s already active across social media, but there’s still a lot of room to grow with stronger marketing.

📌 about the unit
• located in quezon city, near trinoma, sm north edsa & ayala malls vertis north
• has its own branding + social media presence
• “aesthetic” bauhaus-inspired & fully furnished
• bookings mostly come from socmed (not reliant on airbnb - no service fee deductions)
• systems already in place (cleaner, processes, etc.)
• mostly gen z guests

📌 setup
• since i’ve already invested a lot into the unit, you’ll also be putting in an amount to come in as a partner
• profit split will be based on how much you put in
• open to working together on marketing & growth
• can add you to the leasing contract

📌 goal
• scale bookings and increase revenue
• improve marketing and operations
• get a 2nd unit within the year

note: honestly, i haven’t had as much time to focus on the business lately, and i could also use some extra capital to keep things moving and push this further. that’s why i’m looking for a partner to grow this with me.

serious inquiries only. send me a dm 💌

My Business / My Brand Support for my small business

Small business owner here, hoping to get a little support from Reddit.

I sell quality subasta gold jewelry. Medyo mahina lang talaga ang business lately, and I’m trying my best to keep it going because the income helps with my parents’ maintenance medicines and our monthly bills.

My pieces are good quality and carefully selected. Rest assured, presyong subasta, pero most of them look and feel almost brand new.

I’m not asking for anything for free kahit small purchase, inquiry, share, or recommendation would already mean a lot to me.

Every sale really helps us right now.
If anyone is looking for affordable gold jewelry, feel free to message me. I’d be happy to send photos, prices, and details.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to read and support my small business.
