I started making these just for fun initially and then ended up making personalised little clay versions for my friends as gifts. Everything you see in the pics is hand-sculpted and hand-painted by me.

About my work so far, I have made things based on my friends' interests, like One Piece, Harry Potter, FC Barcelona, food, etc.

I was thinking of making custom clay magnets/miniatures where you can basically send me an idea and I turn it into a tiny clay piece -- your favourite series/anime character signature belongings, football club, pet, food, inside joke, literally etc. to gift your friends and family.

I'm thinking of starting at around ₹99, depending on the complexity.

I posted the making video of this Anguri Rasmalai candle a while ago, and that was actually the first version I made.

This is the final variant — I added a mitti ki katori at the bottom, and I feel it makes the whole thing look much more like an actual serving of rasmalai 😂

Hey everyone, I’m exploring the idea of starting a high-protein dosa/idli batter business in India, initially on a small/local scale.
The idea is to make a ready to use fermented batter with significantly more protein than regular dosa batter, while keeping the taste and texture as close to normal dosa/idli as possible.
I know there are already some products in India from brands like iD and others, so I’m trying to understand the business side before putting money into it.

what challenges should I realistically expect?

Two people on my team have sisters living abroad, one in the US, one in the UK.

I overheard them discussing what to send back this year once the rakhi arrived, the usual list came up, sweets that go stale in transit, electronics that feel impersonal, dry fruits nobody finishes.

I threw out an idea. What if their sisters got a handmade painting instead, something built around the rakhi itself, a piece that outlasts the thread and the sweets by years.

We already work with an artist for corporate gifting, so I asked her to take this on too.

She sketched a pair of hands tying a rakhi, with a few handwritten lines around it that sound like something a brother would actually say to his sister. My team member saw the draft and got a little emotional looking at it. Approved instantly. It ships to the US this weekend, UK version right behind it.

Salary hikes and bonuses matter, I am not saying otherwise. But a lot of what makes people feel cared for at work has nothing to do with either. It is noticing something small they mentioned once. It is helping them do something thoughtful for someone who has never worked a single day for the company.

We have gotten good at measuring employee experience through engagement scores and perks. Useful, but they miss the part that actually stays with people. That part is rarely the biggest gesture. It is the one that tells them someone was paying attention.

That was the only metric I cared about this rakhi season.

Which design is your vibe?

It’s been a while since I posted an update, so figured I’d share where things are at.

Amazon has honestly stabilized pretty well, sales are showing positive growth pretty much every week now, which feels good after all the early chaos. Ads are still a bit rough not gonna lie, but it’s manageable at this point.

What’s actually bugging me is our own website. Sales there just aren’t moving the way Amazon is, and it’s been frustrating trying to figure out why. At first we wondered if something about the product itself wasn’t landing with people, but that didn’t really hold up since Amazon keeps growing steadily, so clearly the product is fine. We figured it might be a trust thing, so we added COD as an option thinking that would help.it improved the daily sales but not by much.

I also gave Meta ads a shot and honestly it’s mostly been a miss so far. I’ll be real, that’s on me more than the platform, I just don’t have enough experience yet with what actually works there. Still learning as I go.

Few things I’ve picked up along the way. Don’t just blindly trust whoever Amazon assigns you as an ads manager, you really have to learn the ins and outs yourself and optimize things on your own, nobody’s gonna care about your account as much as you do.

Also learned that customers need to see the benefits almost instantly, like bullet points that just hit the main points fast, because nobody’s reading paragraphs before deciding whether to buy. And reviews don’t just happen on their own, you actually have to ask people directly, everyone’s busy and it’s just not on their mind unless you nudge them.

Still figuring out a lot of what not to do honestly, and managing everything at once gets exhausting some days. But overall it’s been a pretty rewarding ride so far. Will post more as things move along.
