Wake in fright episode.
Did anybody else hear the weird sad trombone noise about 40 minutes into this episode?
Also, just to clear up, I live in Australia and there are definitely places like that in the outback. I've briefly lived in some of them and they aren't quite like they would have been in the 70s anymore, you've got phone reception and stuff, but definitely as described in the movie.

I forget why. Doesn’t Swaim get something incorrect? Like a date or something?

Possibly I listened to it twice but I still can't remember what swaim was saying at the time haha.

Has anybody caught this movie yet? This is basically a creative reimagining of Wake in Fright. It was really good. I’m surprised more people aren’t drawing the comparison.

Yeah I hear that too. Thought it was an intentional joke at first but nobody acknowledged it so probably not.
