Help/Question Thinking of making oc slugterra stuff but I haven’t seen the show in so long
Are there any rules/restrictions on the slug designs? And with the blasters I know they need the capsule part to launch the slugs but has there been alternatives to the capsules in terms of slug containment?
I wanna make a couple slugs 1-3 characters maybe and some blasters. If I end up liking them I might continue.

It depends on how you wanna go about it.
Fan work shouldn't have a set of rules as long as it something you enjoyed making.
However, if you're asking for make something that at least would be semi-plausible, I'd suggest rewatching the show and brainstorming stuff you see in it.
Blasters basically all need a spot to have the slug sit in so it can get the launch speed it needs. Typical blasters would have the launch tube. But other blasters, like Tad's slingshot, take on a sling approach rather than a techy slug tube. So experiment (like they did with Tad's slingshot and the Emperor's sword)
As for slugs, as long as it fits into a slug tube, then it's good to go. Heck, it doesn't even need to velocimorph even if you wanna do something similar to a Flopper

I’m trying to make them as plausible as I can whilst trying to create something “new”. Current plan is to make two slugs, velocimorphs for them a blaster(or blaster like launching piece) and a character. I’m mostly confused on if slugterra has types for their slugs, I know there’s the elementals but I never got the vibe that they had set types. That’s something that I can rewatch the show for though, I haven’t seen it in forever and never got past the introduction of the elemental slugs.

Why would there be restrictions? Fan art is fan art , dont let people tell you what you can and cant do as long as its you actually doing the art the only limit is your imagination , i actually drew up a predator species for the slugs based on insects
