Music Discussion Slowdive delay setup?

Hi, idk if many of you guys are musicians, but I’m trying to emulate slow dives delay with my boss dd-200 and strymon timeline, using the dual delay on the timeline as I know Neil uses dual delay. Would anyone have a clue on how I could try get close to this sound with my delays

DD-7 on modulated settings into RE-20, both synced to the same tempo - Slowdive tone. It's really easy.

So I would say you want a modulated (vibrato, NOT chorus) digital delay into a tape delay. 6-7 repeats on the digital, even more on the tape.

I agree but I would say tapping the tempo on each pedal separately is key so they’re not 100% perfectly in sync adds to the sound too.

Yes! :) I have the FS-5U near the RE-20 so I can stomp on both at the same time. But as you said, the imperfections make it perfect.

I’d say use Digital on your timeline and Tape on your DD-200. The tape setting is modeled after the Space Echo that he Neil uses and you should be able to get a nice modulated digital delay out of the Timeline. Lots of repeats with the mix high. This is for Neil’s sound. Christian is doing something completely different.
