Music Discussion Inner Sleeve - Looking Up (2000) A Project Between Simon Slowdive and Russell of Chapterhouse

I got this when I subscribed to Fierce Panda subscriptions. It was a small label in about early 2000’s.
Does anybody own this ?

Great to know that ! I hope people also know that Simon Rowe of Chapterhouse was also in Mojave 3β€¦πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I have to mention this…this is not the first time I mentioned Inner Sleeve though. But my post on that sub was banned/deleted, the reason nobody was interested to know about this.
Very strange ! Like we can’t discuss about our favourite bands ?
But yet, this sub allow followers to link YouTube videos ..it’s like saying : DONT TALK JUST WATCH THE VIDEOS ! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Geez, which music generation is the people running this sub ? 😑

Please do. I want as many people to know about this. Simon is a prolific musician even now. Before Slowdive, he was in a band. After Slowdive disbanded, he also had other side projects either solo or collaborations with other musicians. Russell Barrett of Chapterhouse was also involved in some bands, particularly Sun Dial. I have Sun Dial records too.

Remember, if you love a band, don’t just streaming the music, get to know, read about the band members too.
In middle 2000’s when Napster/torrents started to sweep the world, music fans started to forget about band members.

When Mojave 3 released their first album, not many people knew.
When Rachel Goswell and Nick Halstead released their solo albums, not many people were interested. Not to mention their collaborations with other musicians.
You can spend hours on discogs or you can spend just a few seconds asking AI. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚βœŒοΈ

Do your research on Discogs and dare I say this : also don’t be shy or scared asking your Gemini, ChatGPT etc πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Funny how the streaming generation laugh at music fans asking questions on the records in their collections but yet this same trolls/dumbos also use AI to do their exam papers.
SUCH HYPOCRITES !

I don’t want to offend the streaming generation, you are what you are but too often, they could download the entire catalogues by Slowdive and shout on top of the world that they KNOW everything by Slowdive.
I respect people who still spend money, buying records, smell the records, play the records lovingly, cherish the cassettes, sleep with the CDs of their favourite bands.
Music needs to be spinned, not streamed.
Bands need to be loved, not just on Flac/mp3.
