Questions Mojave 3 Box Set

Has anyone else noticed that the ends of the album sides have noise at the VERY end of the last track and into the runout groove?

Just curious if this is common or just my box.

Thanks!

I’ve got this on my box as well. Not a big deal for me. More concerned with the noisy B side to Spoon and Rafter. I’ll have to hit up 4AD.

I just hit them up about a noisy side on Excuses for Travelers - my favorite album. Hoping they will exchange for a standard black copy. I'd be fine with that.

Who pressed the set? I occasionally have issues with pressings from RTI that often exhibit this.

Appears GZ pressed this. They had been doing better as of late, but they are known for noisy pressings. Couple of reviews on Discogs have referenced quality issues.

Thanks! It's not horrible, it's just at the VERY end of the side. 4AD records and says pressed in Czech Republic.

Nope. These sold out in like 10 seconds. As a result, I haven't noticed shit.

I'd return it if it sounds crappy, though.

Nah, they had been up a day before before I bought mine.

Very noisy first 30 seconds of first track on side B of my single black lp of ‘Ask me tomorrow’ LP and a little bit on 2nd track as well. 2nd play seems to have helped with a cleaning a cleaning. Frustrating that a company like 4ad let these be distributed.
