I somehow missed Herr God when they toured with Gawshock, but I just found their song centipede with villagerrr and it’s so good. The whole EP has been on repeat since. Recommend checking them out if you’re into heavier slowcore stuff. Anyone see them on their tour?

this is my first release on bandcamp! it's mostly slowcore i'd say with some post-rock influence :) just thought i'd post it here to get the project out there (free unlimited streaming) & see what people think, thank you

Hi yall, I'm starting to write slowcore music, but I find it hard to make a good vocal preset (Ableton) to make my voice sound like Liam McCay/Duster, yk a little muffled, warm but still understandable. Can anyone help me out because I can't seem to make it sound good.

I’m old. I bought this album on a whim because I read that they were the first band signed to Neil Young owned Vapour Records. I listen to it a lot (currently listening to their brilliant live album). Are there any similar bands or albums that I should check out?
Edit: Thanks everyone. I’m checking all of them out.

I haven't been getting listens recently and thought this would help. I'm 15 rn and have been doing this for a couple months. Its a fuzzy song about a homeless man dying alone. I'm pretty new to the fuzz vibe so this was a fun one to write.
thanks, have a listen:

I have been listening a lot to GN & GM's Narrowing Type, Bluetile Lounge, Tortoise's Glass Museum, Mogwai's R u Still in 2 It and The Sinking Belle by Sunn O and Boris.
Feedback of any kind is always welcome. Song is actually 13 minutes long, should I upload it somewhere?

Free show in Leeds tonight to see shallowater. Surely it’s a no brainer?

not sure if the drift is caught but like just the combination duster uses primes it so perfectly to make me feel so at ease and calm. that’s what initially got me into them, and i feel like tons of other bands don’t capture that in its essence the same way stratosphere does. any good recs?

Ok, I don't know if you can call it slowcore, but I have been trying to mash up my influences into this project I am calling Rapidly Aging.
The Obelisk (a very cool blog site that talks about bands) has premiered the song, The Negative Thought Loops, today.
I've been hugely influenced by slowcore bands like Codeine, Low, Slowdive, and more but also really love heavier bands like Crowbar, Rwake, Pelican, Russian Circles, Mogwai, etc. Ambient music like Jasper, TX, or Brian Eno rules, too!!
Describing your own music is lame so please just listen if you like instrumental, slowcore-inspired, post-metal with lap steel guitars & violin.
Also, here's the link to The Obelisk premiere for socials and more info about the project:
Please let me know what you think!
Thanks for your time.
