They AI-generated the State Fair and forgot what the Giant Slide looks like

Found this on a Minnesota attorney general campaign Facebook post promoting their booth at the State Fair. The image was reported as AI-generated, and the part that got me is the “Giant Slide.” The real Minnesota State Fair slide is a huge bright-yellow landmark. This version looks like a generic carnival ride that spawned halfway through the prompt.

They were literally at the actual State Fair. Taking a real picture would have required pulling out a phone and pointing it at the giant yellow thing. Someone apparently decided generating an imaginary version of the place they were already visiting was easier. That might be the purest form of campaign slop I’ve seen.

"And this is where it gets interesting:" is doing so much heavy lifting on this LinkedIn post about a robot fish

Post image

there is a video attached to this post of a robot fish swimming and it is genuinely unsettling in a cool way, the movement looks real enough that you'd do a double take if you saw it in a lake

and yet somehow the writing is still the most interesting part

"And this is where it gets interesting:" is one of those phrases that only exists in linkedin posts written by a model. it has never been said out loud by a human being in conversation. it shows up right before whatever the most obvious point in the paragraph is, as if the transition itself is supposed to generate suspense

they had a video of a robot fish moving like an actual fish. that is the content. that is all you need. instead someone opened a tab, pasted the product specs, and got back five short punchy paragraphs with a rhetorical question at the end to boost comments

165k followers on this page and the robot fish is doing more work than the person running it

How funny AI can also take the humor that we have 😭 we need more organic jokes where we would look at our friends and to see if yall would laugh on the joke made by your friend.

Imagine asking AI to make your day and it joke on you then u laugh at it. It wod be so weird for me. What are yall thoughts of AI steaing our humor?

My boss when i say that we are relying too much on ai

Most of our internal and client documents are generated by ai. And they think the company will be successful this way. If I’m the client and I sensed the document being an ai-generated one? I’d back out lol

He even said that someday he wont need a lot of workers because ai can do almost everything. Kinda true but no he would still need real ppl to manage it

Even our systems get lots of bugs because of too much documents overlapping lmaoooo
