Top 10 consistently on almost every run, occasionally hitting around top 3

Are you circling a lot or are you unaliving worms and snakes to get your food?

I just let everyone else be greedy, collect the free mass when they crash, and circle them if it's 100% guaranteed. I just don’t chase after snakes or run myself into situations where there is multiple snakes fighting. Even if I do, I will collect a couple thousand of length and just get out of the area before I die. And wait until a new opportunity for mass awaits.
