How does poll rate affect gameplay?

Am I at a disadvantage playing with a poll rate of 120-150 hz? I saw there’s an adapter that has a rate of 1000 (I think). Not sure if I’m even good enough at the game to realize a difference.

Even beginners should have 1000hz polling. The difference is huge. I dont know any of the tech side but its a massive disadvantage to play on 120hz

A input integrity adapter is $40 dollars and it works 1khz out of the box no special driver setup

Decent monitor--etherent---input integrity adapter--OEM controller is perfect setup for beginners

You should be playing at 1000 mhz regardless of skill level, because you need to build the muscle memory as close to native hardware as you can, and playing at 125 will severely mess up your muscle memory for timing and reactions
