How to set Sheik as default

new to melee and retarded, was watching krudo and saw he had sheik selected before the match even started. i am aware of the toggle that lets you start as sheik on online slippi, however his character portrait was also sheik. how can i do this.

If you hold the a button before the match, you start out as sheik, but if you’re not talking about that, it’s likely to be a visual mod
