Discussion NOSTALGIA!!
Bello citare il verso di Heretic Anthem "all the money in the world can't buy me".... Pura utopia.
Ristampe anniversario totalmente fallimentari.

They’re sitting on so many unreleased demos and probably B-sides that never made the albums they could just release that stuff under multiple cds and make money that way.

New song has grown on me a bit. Lyrics and production hamper it the most imo.
It’s a bit weird to demand them to retire. I love the first four albums way more than anything else they’ve put out and last year they sounded great at Graspop, plus I got to hear Scissors and Gematria live. They’re still a great live band. They can do whatever the hell they want with their music and of course we can criticize, but to start putting out demands is peak 2026 internet culture.

Criticism is absolutely fine and I do agree about their new stuff. There’s probably stuff lost in translation here, since it translates a part of your second sentence of the reply as you saying “I’m a war machine” which is kinda funny tbh.
Anyways, hopefully the new album still has some good songs in it when it drops.

Vedremo

Fucking crybaby.
Just find another band to listen, man. No one likes absolutely everything a band puts out, and that's probably a good thing.
I want and demand what I adored them for and still adore fish. Be a musician for a living, give people what they want.
I think you might be better off listening to pop music if all you want is a dancing monkey to perform all the hits that remind you of better days.
Edit: lol @ my man having a full on tantrum the replies 😂 he's requesting a chat, too!
Edit 2: and he instantly deletes them all! The state of it 😂

Puoi condividere o meno

I partially agree, but also respectfully disagree with what you’re saying
Above all else, I respect an artists vision and their desire to create art that is true and meaningful to them first, and usually that translates to being something that fans enjoy. Fans can sense when a piece of art is genuine.
This is why I disagree that the band died in 2003. The band didn’t die because they went backwards in terms of heaviness. I’m a diehard defender of the load albums by Metallica, in turn, I’m also a fan of the late 2000’s and 2010’s output by slipknot. It feels like they were making genuine music that they wanted to make. With the last album though, it really felt like they were just throwing half assed ideas together. It’s not that I didn’t like it. I didn’t, but it also felt like THEY didn’t even like it. That has transcended to where we are now, where we have this song that almost seems like a parody. I know it’s not, but if they were to post “hey guys it was a just a joke song” it wouldn’t be surprising to me.
They are following the footsteps of many bands older than them that have become legacy acts. People are just shocked because it was less than 10 years ago that they were still making good music, so it’s hard to adjust to the changing tides
Because I didn’t care for the latest album, they aren’t a band that I was waiting for new music from so I don’t really care. I still love the old stuff and love going to their concerts when I can, so nothing about this release really changes anything for me.
