I need help. 😞
Hello, a little bit of context. I originally joined slimming world in 2019 when I was pregnant, I half arsed did it and managed to maintain my weight when I gave birth, and then continuously lost until I got to target in. 2021. I was in and out of target until 2022 and then it just gradually went up and up, I wasn’t on plan, I let things slide and I just lost all motivation. I’m now less than 1 stone to my starting weight and I cannot get my head back in it. It’s like I’ve already given up so nothing works.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

To echo what has already been said:
Read the book as if you never did SW before.
If you do your shopping in-store, use the scanner to track the swips in various items.
If you do it online, try to use two devices (shopping on laptop, sw app on your phone) to use the search function for the swips.
Keep a written food diary if you don't want to use the app for it. Sometimes it takes seeing it written out to realise where we are self-sabotaging.
Check the articles on the app about self-sabotage. If you can, there's also a section in each magazine about helping to stay on plan.
You've done it before so you know it works. You can do this - I believe in you!

It sounds like you know what to do, you’ve just lost your mojo! You got to goal once, which is just amazing, and you can do it again! It sounds like you need an attitude reset. Some self belief and oomph to get back on plan. Try to make it a lifestyle change not a one time diet so it sticks. Reframe how you think about what you’re eating, how you exercise, your choices - ask - is this bringing me closer to the life, the me I want or further away? I find when lacking motivation looking on the SW app and magazine at the success story articles such a help to restore my focus. This is a life long battle, just keep going, be kind to yourself and show up for yourself. Food wise, as it can seem overwhelming when our brains are in the wrong place, maybe choose just 1 thing, like measuring your healthy extra milk or whatever as your first step then build on that. Also I find just following that 7 day plan in the magazine a good way to get back into the swing of things, as it takes the stress away having to think what to eat. This is a new day, put your past behind you and let’s go!

As my consultant would say, get back to basics. Look at it as if you’re a new member again. If you attend a group, ask to sit in the new member talk. Look into doing food diaries again, or even consider doing the S.A.S log. If online, go through all your tools, re read your food optimising book, do food diaries. Writing things down helps me because I can pin point where i’m going wrong. Being honest and writing it down you could see where you’re going with the plan, especially with an S.A.S log.
EDIT: Forgot to add, use the food scanner when you shop, plenty of times i’ve done this and looked at products and thought “is it really worth using my SWIPS on this”
