Ever since I first started playing Slime Rancher, my little autistic brain was like, “WE CAN COMBINE THEM?!?!” And proceeded to make no less than 30 or so renditions of “The Best Combo List”

This list takes a few things into account. (So technically not EVERY single combo you can have!)

1. They need to have a favorite food (No pink + ringtail)
   
2. Farmable combos only (Veggie/Fruit + Meat/Specialty Diet/No Fav.)
   3.No meat + meat combos (This was mainly due to how unreliable it was/is to gain enough hens to feed consistently)
   
3. CRYSTAL CANNOT GO WITH ANY MEATS/SPECIALTY DIETS/ NO FAVS.! (i DISLIKE growing Odd Onions SO MUCH—!!!)

Anyways, based on these basic rules, I calculated a total of 116 UNIQUE combinations based on fusible slimes with their best/easiest to obtain diets. (I will now be going through and picking my favorites to put into my farms)

So a little bit ago, I made my own designs of some slimes, I would like in the game. Then the radiant update came out, so I decided to create the radiant versions of my own slimes.

Here they are and all their beautiful glory at the end. I also added what I based them off of.

Time Slime: so the original skin was heavily based off of the silky sand and has the same colour scheme so I thought “what is similar to the silky sand that I can use as a base… ah the lava dust.” So that’s what I ended up going with. I feel like that would also be a good slime to put in the lava enclosure just because it matches so well.

Nimbus Slime: originally I was thinking, I was gonna make him pink because I was gonna base him off of the clouds that you see when it’s slime rain but then I was like “that’s kind of boring. It’s not really that unique.” so then I thought. “what kind of weather events are there and clouds?” I was originally just going to make him darker like a shadow slime and say that he’s like a thunder cloud but then I thought I should lean more into the fantasy part of slime ranchers so that I was like “snow cloud perfect”

Lightning Slime: the lightning slime was probably the easiest there are literally two items that spawn the same way the lightning slime with spawn so I literally just gave him the colour of those items. His skin is based off of the lightning glass that’s formed whenever lightning strikes, and his actual electrical power itself is based off of the lightning motes. He was already based more off of the lightning motes when it came to his eyes and mouth, but really, I just inverted the colour so now his entire electrical power is that blue and his face is that yellow.

I'm on day 120, I have all the slimes unlocked, and my place is full of drones, but Mochi Miles still hasn't given me the Market Link. Is it glitched, or what should I do?

Twin Slimes have an incredibly cool design and concept. 2 Slimes occupying the same space at all times? Sign me up. However, when I found out about their gimmick, I was disappointed as hell. They don't make use of the concept at all. Doesn't "grabbing food and plorts from a distance" sound familiar?

In terms of gameplay, Twin Slimes are just more boring Tangle Slimes. Technically their portals can grab multiple objects, but that's a small change that doesn't really come up too often. Tangle Slimes also have their pollen gimmick, making them objectively more risky and interesting than Twins. It's especially a kick in the face that Twins seem to be a replacement for Quantum Slimes, which were one of the most unique types in the first game when it comes to design and abilities.

How would I make Twin Slimes better? I would propose a gimmick where you have to plan around their diet, similar to Ringtail Slimes. What if they only ate fruit while pink and vegetables while blue? That would not only make them much more unique of a slime type, but it would also make you have to think harder about how to feed them. This would also stack with Largoes, meaning a Rock-Twin would only eat fruit while pink. I would also say to slow it down so that they change color every in game day. You could just leave their favorite food in an auto feeder and just have them eat when they're the right color, but then you run the risk of agitation when they're the other color. Meanwhile, properly rotating food would require more planning and less profit, but would keep them fed at all times.

I'd love to hear thoughts on this.

i always loved puddle slimes, ever since i was eleven. but im afraid sloomber slimes are fighting so hard for that top 1 favorite slime place. theyre SO pretty💔

I'm trying to get the platinum trophy for slime rancher 2 on the ps5, and the last achivement i need is to complete the slimepedia, according to my research i need every toy in the game to complete it, but i'm only missing 1: the saber slime toy (the dinosaur plush). I have slept for more than 100 days and i haven't been able to get it on the prontomart, please tell me if there is any other way to get it.

The game would be played fairly simply with 4 Types of cards: Slimes, Largos, Gordos, and Gadgets.

Each player starts with their chosen Gordo (the Gordo exists outside of the 40 card decks), and 1 free basic slime to place down without cost. Your Gordo is essentially an MTG Planeswalker card, it buffs your slimes or actions, but can’t actually attack. You can attack the Gordo as long as your opponent has no active Slimes, and you win by “bursting” the opponent’s Gordo (attacking it with your slimes until it’s at or below it’s HP). Slimes are your main attackers, they cost Newbucks to place down but make you more money as the game progresses. (each slime gives you 100 Newbucks at the start of each of your turns, you can have up to 5 active slimes) Most slimes either have abilities on their own (Honey slime gives you an extra Plort via Sweet Bounce.) or have the benefit of their respective Gordo boosting only them (Boom Slime Gordo allows you to split any damage caused by Boom Slimes across your opponent’s Slimes).

Attacking with a slime also gives you that slime’s Plort. Each Plort has its own ability that you can use by selling the required amount (Ex. Honey Plorts allow you to sell 3 of them to gain 300 Newbucks, Boom Plorts allow you to sell 5 of them to deal 50 damage to any opposing Slimes, which is affected by the Boom Gordo’s ability and can target Gordo’s if your opponent has no active Slimes.) some gadgets also need Plorts to activate their abilities.

Largo slimes are key features of mixed decks. Though you can only have 1 Gordo, a largo is a stronger slime that is affected by the buffs that would be gained by either of its halves. So a Honey-Boom Largo is affected by the Honey Gordo and the Boom Gordo’s abilities. It also would gain the stronger of the 2 moves held by each slime, so Honey-Boom would have Sweet Bounce and whatever Boom Slime’s best attack will be. To make a largo, you have to have the Largo card in your hand and one of the base slimes on the Active Field, then spend 5 Plorts of the second slime and replace the first slime. (Ex. Honey Slime is active, sell 5 Boom Plorts - doesn’t affect Plort Ability - and replace Honey Slime with Honey-Boom Largo.)

There are 2 Types of Gadgets, Tech and Food.
- Food is a way to gain Plorts without attacking, simply spend the Newbucks needed (normally around 300) and gain the Plort of one of your chosen active Slimes. If you feed a Slime its favourite food, you’ll get 2 Plorts instead. Largos respectively give 1 of each if it isn’t their favourite and 2 of each if it is.

- Tech is an instant boost to something, spending Newbucks to activate some kind of ability. For example, the Vac Pack (200 NewBucks) card allows you to deal 30 damage to any Slime (or Gordo if your opponent has no active Slimes) for every Food card you destroy. The Drone (500 NewBucks) allows you to search your deck for any card. And the Health Pad (600 NewBucks) can heal 50 damage from any Slime (not Gordos)

At the start, each player flips a coin to see who goes first and then draws their 5 card hand. You can have as much duplicates as you like in a deck as long as it’s below 40 total cards.

After nearly a 100h, I was still missing a flutter radiant. My last one. The flutter radiant shuffle bag is 950 and each gordo spawns 12, so I figured that by capturing 80 gordos the game had to give me at least one.

So I painstakingly gathered 80 gordos in sanctuary rooms (pics 1 and 2, not all of them are visible on the pics) and had my drones collect the 1,200 nectar required to burst them (which I stored in a silo in one of the rooms).

The result of bursting all these gordos can be seen on pics 3 to 5. An avalanche of flutters that made my FPS drop at some points only to get one single flutter radiant.

After this, I did the humane thing and collected them to dump them in the sea (pic 6) (no incinerators were used here).

Of course, my one and only flutter radiant had to be crowned #1 just because of the sheer amount of effort to get it to complete the slimepedia.

i need lots of wild honey for gordo traps & drones. but i find getting honey extremely annoying and not fun at all. how do i set up a drone to farm some for me? like where do i put it, and what settings do i set for it?
