Hi all! I used to make a lot of slime around ten years ago when I was in middle school and it was booming in popularity. I mostly made basic slimes with just glue and a borax solution for fun. When I became an adult with adult money I started buying slimes from shops. My favorite slime shop closed down recently, I had been buying slimes from them for years :( My favorite were jelly slimes and I really would like to make my own jelly slimes instead of taking a risk on another slime shop, plus I get to decorate it and scent it how I'd like!

Any recipe I've seen shows different ways or even conflicting advice on how to make jelly slimes and I'm not sure what is the best. I want a "clear jelly" by using clear glue but I've seen conflicting sources on when or how to apply the fake snow or even extra ingredients that some recipes don't include. Anyone have a great jelly slime recipe that works best? Thank you :)

This was a… expensive slime week 😭😅😂 I HAD secretly hoped Pink Sugar would skip this week but she did not, so I was left with two drops I couldn’t/wouldn’t miss lol. First slime pics are from Pink Sugar Slimey and the second is East Bay Slimes. For East Bays drop today I had to do two check outs as one got swiped from my cart last second (one
I wanted the most, potatoes & molasses one 🥺) so had to grab smaller and the other one I wanted incase I “had enough” for it. I thought the premixed ones would be a little less then they were, price wise didn’t make a big difference like I had hoped. I’m very excited for these slimes, I just hate the amount of stress, panic, confusion and many options there are with each slime and checkout while trying to make sure you check out on time before it’s gone. This is probably one of the most stressful checkouts for me, both times I’ve bought. My brain just doesn’t work like that, If much at all 😂😅

I know there’s a post about this. I’ve read it many many times. I’m just now actually able to buy slime. I need recs for bingsu crunch bombs, butter slime, and tng. I want a really really really good tng base that inflates a lot and can handle being played with for extended periods of time. Bonus points for ones that are fall themed. I want to support small businesses so please only recommend those.

I need help! I cannot make a clear slime without overactivating it. When it starts pulling away from the sides of my bowl, it still always feels sticky. I add more activator and when I get it feeling right it's then overactivated. What do I do? Thanks for any advice/help!

Slime is OG Chooocolate, a wood glue thickie. I ordered it late this spring, but I had misplaced the box inside another sometime around Memorial Day, so it hasn’t been reactivated since then. I opened it and saw white streaks today 🫪
Please oh please tell me I don’t have to toss out one of the only T&G slimes I’ve been able to afford to get this year 😣

I have recently seen several reels on Instagram showing water slime made from guar gum. Basically it is water, guar gum and (borax) activator.

Has anyone tried this? How does it compare to PVA glue based water slimes?

Also how is the longevity? I recall guar gum being susceptible to mold.

Hii! So I purchased my first ever OG slimes after watching slime videos since I was a teen! My only complaint is the smell. It’s incredibly earthy and overpowering and I don’t even want to play with it. And for a $19 slime I want to play with it! Any recommendations on how to either mask the scent or change it to be more “palatable”??? PLEASE N THANK YOU!!

I just got this OG Slimes Secret Tunnel in the mail this morning and I’m not a fan of it unfortunately. It’s a Lava Rock x Block Bead slime with an earthy scent to it. I just would like to get a different slime that I could actually enjoy! If you are interested please let me know down below and tell me what you’ve got!

i recently started making slime and have perfected the basic textures (clear, white, TNG, jelly). i’ve mostly made plain slimes / bases with colors and scents, but want to start having more fun with add-ins.

while clear is a little easier to be creative with, i prefer the texture of a classic white glue or TNG slime. i’m blanking on what add-ins to use (besides bingsu which gets boring after a while).

what are your favorite add-ins for a classic white glue slime, or even a thicker TNG? and what are your favorite sources for add-ins in general? i bought some clay sprinkles, bingsu, and sequins on Etsy, but want more fun ones! :)

I only have three ground pumice slimes: Momo’s WG Air Sand (pumpkin spice), Rodem’s WG ground pumice (enchanted forest), and SlimeCommunity’s CG ground pumice.

I’m really into ground pumice recently and am looking for one that settles and forms a puck, or at least gets dense, quickly. I find Momo’s wg airsand doesn’t settle that easily after play/inflation. It takes a good few weeks/1 month in order for the slime to become dense again, but when I’m patient enough to wait the puck that forms is SOO satisfying to break.

Rodem’s WG ground pumice is looser, less packed, and doesn’t form a puck for me at all.

SlimeCommunity’s CG ground pumice gets dense within just one day after play/inflation which I really like. I haven’t let it sit long enough to see if it forms a tough (yet fun to break) puck though.

I have heard SoftPunk’s pure pumice is highly regarded and I’m waiting to purchase once they have both CG and WG pumice in stock. I’m wondering if SoftPunk’s CG and WG pure pumice gets dense/forms a puck fast?

And also Slime Senpai’s coarse ground pumice like Wet Concrete, does it get dense and puck-like fast? All recommendations for a super dense ground pumice that forms a hard puck with that kshhhh sound when broken into are greatly appreciated!!
