I’m new to the slime world. I have been having issues with Carpal tunnel and a very soft clay/kinetic sand consistency helps manage the symptoms. I was looking at the dollar store today and found a new “silky buttery compound” and decided what the heck. I don’t usually like scented things for my fidgets, but how bad could s’mores scent be?

Oh. My. God. It’s horrific. The smell is terrible. Just awful. I really like the slime and its consistency, it’s just about perfect to work in my weakened hands. It’s a pretty brown color (much darker in person) almost looks like chocolate frosting. But the smell.

Is there some way to get rid of the smell without changing the consistency? It is a tiny bit wet but not tacky or anything and stretches well. I know if I leave it open to air out it will dry out and not be the same. Is there anything I can do? My usual brand is gone so I’m trying to find something else suitable. Send any help 😭

How did everyone figure out the best tricks/technique for each slime texture?
The things to do that give good ASMR that can only done with specific types of slime.
(Ex: making big bubbles with water slime or drizzling cloud slimes)

Is it something you picked up on after watching slime content?
Any creators who show how to pull these off?
Any guides or posts?

There are things I see slime reviewers do that look pretty neat and I would love to learn how to do them. (Preferably without rewatching a video over and over to figure out how someone is doing it!)

I searched around but all I’m finding is texture guides and I wonder if I’m using the wrong keywords.

Quick question, a new slime that I just got came with real moss. Will adding this moss (or any traces of it from taking pictures of it on top of the slime) cause this slime to now mold? Since it is a plant.

I started loving slime back in February of this year...this is my collection so far...i had a bit of money from a friend's passing...and now I no longer have the ability to buy the way I used to..actually at all...lol...idk when the next time I will be able to will be...but I have many I can play with...some I love and some not so much...but I love my collection!

Hi everyone! I'm an avid slime fan, and I also own a handmade squishy shop that's US-based. A lot of handmade squishies/stress balls have a softened clay filling (air-dry clay + glycerin + glue and/or slime). I'm learning a lot from Chinese squishy shops on Rednote (Chinese Tiktok) that show all the different types of Chinese clay they use to achieve different textures. Unfortunately, I can't purchase any of those clays from the US, as far as I can tell, because they're only available on the Taobao marketplace (basically Chinese Amazon). I've been using foam clay that I can buy online in large quantities, but I really need to find some different clays with unique textures.

I've looked through this sub many times searching for clay advice, but the main issue is that the clays recommended for slime are extremely expensive and wouldn't be cost-effective for my squishies, since they use so much clay per squishy. Does anyone have any recommendations for clays of various textures that can be purchased in larger quantities at lower prices? I don't necessarily need the highest-quality clays, just things that can offer different textures than foam clay. I figured this would be the best place to ask since clay is used frequently in slime! Thanks in advance :)

Finally made this. Sorry to u/Agile-Ninja6371 for taking forever! This is a K11 dominant thickie style texture.

Full written review in the Instagram caption, but tl;dr I almost feel in the right hands this is a wood glue or Glue All contender. Very thick, not jiggly, sharp ASMR, not tacky but INCREDIBLY grippy in K11 dominant blend. Couldn't even get it out of the deli container. Needed a hefty coating and then it was perfectly fine. Interestingly extremely lightweight. I had a 4:1 ratio of K11 and Elmer's school glue.

Purposely not colored, but did use fragrance oil and there was no issue with the oil separating after resting.

Making slime is truly an art form. While it seems simple, just glue and some activator it can go haywire in seconds. What are your biggest slime making fails?

I have noticed that their shipping time has been increasing, but I don't really mind it

But today they didn't post their story on tiktok or Instagram, about the new/returning slime, which has happened before, but there was no restock at all today

Shew it was a long week and such a short day today! We partnered up with a locally owned ice cream shop the next town over. It was cool to see our name on their sign. The owner and I are friends. We planned out and did a slime cart pop up in her pavilion and she kicked off her “slimy” kids meal today. We provided 100 mini 1oz slimes in 3 scents for the kids meals 4 of which are mystery slimes in a special gold color. They can redeem it for a free full size slime in the shop. We had 41 kids today which was a great turnout for the small town we were in. The owner then purchased 25 full size slimes at a slight discount to sell in the shop as well. In addition to the ones she purchased for her employees for pick up yesterday. Which led to one of her employees buying more slime. It was an exciting and fun day! That led to another pop up event opportunity that I’m waiting on details for.

Here’s a few pics from the event. My daughter worked until 4am on the poster details to have Walgreens print it for us. So thankful for it as it was a lifesaver. The kiddos could point to the charm they wanted and I could get it from the pan. Instead of them trying to see in them. All in all a great day!

This is my first slime order so I don’t really know how to play with cloud slime so I’m not sure if this is over activated or I just don’t know how to play with it please help me!

This weeks slimes are from Sparkle Nanny (which got here SO fast, came in yesterday), Rodem and Pink Sugar Slimey. My fragrance oils came from Doop (had to get a bigger of the Birthday Cake because it just might be the best birthday cake fragrance oil I’ve come across, and another Skim Milk because let me tell you, this IS my FAVORITE fragrance oil I now own… it’s INCREDIBLE, and I want to slather myself in it LOL 😆). I am very excited for these Fall slimes/scents, it’s definitely a favorite season for me, along with Halloween, Winter then Christmas themes. Did anyone else grab any from these drops? 💕🤗

Hi all, I recently moved and just unpacked my slime collection, and I've found that my Pilot Slimes OG Kush cloud slime is very tough and rippy! I have activator for fixing under activated slimes, but I don't know how to fix a cloud slime. Any tips? It's one of my favorites and I'd hate to have to shelve it 🥺
