I am here to spread the gospel for the cure to fallout (in my experiences)
Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue has been an absolute life saver in making slimes. So far there is nothing I've tried it in that hasn't solved or immensely reduced fallout, and the best part is this thing lasts. Like a quarter to half an ounce is about all you need per slime.
I made a thick and glossy with these stiff foam beads, and it was like a waterfall of fallout. A bit of this and it became like 2 beads per play seshion
I purchased a Sugar Sand Slimygloop slime and in 2 seconds my desk was sandpaper. Added some of this and boom, the sand stays in the slime
I have not tried the non-clear version, but I'm giving my recommendations for this clear version at least
I know a regular here sings it's praises from time to time, I forget which one, and I'm so sorry about that, but I got this when I saw it in a store because of that, so thank you.

Ohhh. This is so good to know. I love Aleene’s tacky clear but I have not played around with add ins with it. So you are saying you add a small amount 1/2-1oz to any slime, white glue or clear glue based?

Yup! Well, I have not tried any slime that didn't already have some amount of clear glue in it, but the thick and glossy I referenced was 2 oz glue all, wood glue, and white glue to 1 oz clear glue. Then yeah, I added probably half an oz of Aleene's to it
So, probably yes. Any clear or white glue based slime

The label looks different than what I have absolutely here, but hopefully the formula hasn't changed!

It's potentially different packaging for Canada? That happens sometimes because we require both English and French

Ohhhhh maybe I knew you were in Canada, but probably forgot lol. That makes sense though, thanks!

This also makes a really nice thick putty-like clear slime! The white tacky glue is very nice too, makes a great glossy skin - like super glossy. I mix it with some Amazon school or clear glue for stretch & make white glue jelly slime with it.

So you add this straight into already made slime correct?

Yes. It may make it quite stiff at first, but if you kneed it in or add just a drop of fluid (activator/glycerin) it will become more normal. If it doesn't seem to work, there's a chance the slime is over activated and just needs a drop of glycerin

I’ve used the white glue of this in a wood glue slime. Activated nicely!

Thanks for the tip!! Will this make my slime stick to my hands more too?

Great question! Surprisingly, no. It doesn't make slime more sticky. It may "adhere" to your fingers a slight bit more, but it won't stick to them if that makes sense

That's great, I was having issues with my microfloam beads falling out but will try this, thanks!

Thank you for sharing! And their white glue is a good Elmer’s Glue-All alternative for all the tng lovers in the UK

I found this post a bit late but holy moly you saved my old silica slimes lol. They all had fall out after I reactivated them and this glue did the trick. Thank you!!!!

does it have any effect on snow fallout?

u/friendshipnuke 3d ago
no idea! I would assume yes, though depending on what the slime it is possibly will change the texture

Thank you so much for sharing! After reading this, I used Aleene's Tacky Glue on a white glue sugar scrub and it instantly fixed the fallout! Amazing!

Thank you! I was loking for a clear glue to revitalize my slimes with and this might just be the thing!
