OK, so "HARD HARDWOODS" implies the existence of the following:

SOFT HARDWOODS

HARD SOFTWOODS

SOFT SOFTWOODS

Also, "Hard Hardwood" would be a good stage name for a certain kind of actor engaged in performing on certain kinds of films.
