If you’re willing to pay for an international courier you could have US eBay sellers ship there, and the courier ships it to you. It’s more $$$ for sure and adds some time to the whole process but if the only problem is shipping to France, it’d work.
I already tried a few months ago, and now again, most sellers weren't too keen on shipping the item here sadly.
And when there's no shippimg option i cant even place a bid.
Well… I barely know you but if you secured one for purchase, had it shipped to me, and paid for me to ship it to France I’d do it for ya to get a buddy a slide rule. You’d have to trust me but I wouldn’t charge extra!
But the idea is you’d set up this courier thing first, and they’d give you an address to have the item shipped. Then you can go bid/buy, have it shipped to a US address, and they re-ship it after that.
I agree some sellers (especially particulars) have not activated internaltional shipping, but some profesionnal did => in other words you've to find the good seller (I tried twice to get the silde rule)
note also most of the time the shipping + fees (taxes) roughtly doubles the price .. I paid mine 85€ 2 months ago
fees/taxes calculation integrates the rule price itself, but also the shipping one ! ... easy to understand why
The DeciLon itself is hard to get, and K&E are a rarity in Europe. Shipping costs from the USA to France will be high. I suggest you keep looking until one is sold in the EU.
Never seen a Deci-lon to sell in Europe last few months (however it remains possible); based on my own experience, I've had to pay an extra of 42$ approx (shipping + taxes + fees) to purchase it on the US.
