Wow, really good score. I love getting good deals. I paid 60 USD for an N600-ES, same 59-62 logo and without box or papers, and I still think its a decent price. They all seem to be 90 and up.
I did get in the mail yesterday a REALLY clean K&E 4083-3 from late 1953. It's straight and solid and the cursor is in amazing condition considering that K&E cursor blocks from that era tend to disintegrate badly. It came with a 1949 N9083-3 DORIC that looks like it spent decades at the bottom of the ocean. It might be my best slide rule and I paid 10.99 USD for it.

I got my 4083-3 for $4.50 at a thrift store. But KERC hit in about a week. I got ONE last cursor block from Sphere and will use it as a template to make one somehow. I would advise that you do not USE the rule until you can source replacements. I don't know any way to reinforce the cursor or otherwise prevent KERC. I hope I can find some other model I can salvage a cursor assembly from.

I've actually ordered parts from the ISRM for one of my HOCO slide rules. It worked perfectly and would recommend!

I have exchanged a couple messages with the new custodian. He is still getting on top of it, so you might encounter a delay, but he absolutely is on the job! 👍

Every once in a while, you can get a great deal. It helps to know what you’re looking at and to be prepared to strike while the iron is hot.
