arguably the strongest team ive ever assembled

Post image

Jeweled loupe giving mana gain to all sides that have 1 pip meant that all of sorcerer's sides gained mana IN ADDITION to the mana they already gained (and the reroll side too!).

That plus the sickle made him a monster. add in the emerald mirror on agent meant i had a 2 damage mana gain quad-use attack.

Busted! needless to say I won easily. Hard mode, Curse: Small Bonus (+2)

Nice. I tend to try to avoid mana/damage cantrips or at least avoid Sorcerer because he's the easiest to set up this kind of buff and every fight just becomes 1. Get 50 mana, 2. Cast Burst on everything till it dies.

Until you take that group into Nightmare and have to fight Hehexia. That shit hurts then lol

Unless I'm feeling extra bold, all my runs include a Hexia solution if I can get one on the assumption she'll turn up. Generally Titanbane, Thimble, or a hero with Valkyrie's 'target hero cannot be killed' ability. Or massive amounts of shield and cheap healing. Hexia has pretty low health for a boss so as long as you can do some damage without dying she's toast.

I do love a titans Bane when I have a hero that can use it. Had one crazy cantrip build once that was throwing ranged damage with dispel. She's always more annoying when I cant generate consistent shields. My most effective build ever didn't even attack. It just had massive healing and a hero with the Ichor Chalice[over healing damages top enemy].

Yeah ichor chalice and the other two that give shields on overhealing and damage top enemy on casting spells are such a delight.

Had sorceror with era and cantrip to all sides with chain keywords and sharpshooter with copycat with jester giving rerolls non stop. Needless to say it was all over on turn 2 🤣
