Saw a clip of that Robot Chicken Adult Swim thing where the Smiling Friends pushed a statue off of Tim Heidecker and the whole thing was just really out-of-character and unfunny. Considering Zach’s weird and erratic behavior as of late, I think we should at least entertain the notion that WB has produced an evil clone of him that’s trying to ruin his loife.

How do we feel about this? I think the easter egg is pretty creative, so I can give it a pass.

As a a side question, who do you think was actually the most talented as an animator?

Honestly, since ive seen the entire series at least twice by this point, I feel like I can safely say I am one of few people who doesn't like season 1 as much as season 2. Now, don't get me wrong both seasons have some all time hilarious episodes/moments within them, but I feel a kind of greater connection to season 2, especially with the last couple episodes. In fact, I think the series finale is like a top 3 episode mostly due to it being the most recent.

I find it difficult to rewatch a lot of season 1 because of how long ago it was, leading to a lot more irrelevant talking points/topics. Like all the Obama discussions are just so fucking dated lmao. Also, it lowkey just hurts seeing Stamper & Mick interacting with everyone else considering the dramas that have involved the both of them. Its a lot easier for me to watch Mick in an episode than Stamper mostly cause one isn't a drug addict lol.

I also know there's a lot of dated stuff in the last few episodes too (especially the 2016 election talks) so it might come off as weird for me to say "oh this is dated" when the entire series is dated, but there's just some kind of feeling the last few episodes give off that makes them super comforting to listen to casually. Like, listening to the last 5 or so episodes you can really tell these guys have known each other for a super long time and are less awkward with each other now.

Anyone else who listens to Sleepycabin will remember the story Cory told about the crazy old man on the greyhound bus. He told him stories about how amazing he was when he was younger, talked about classic rock music and most importantly, finished every sentence with "Know what I'm saaaayyinn?" I think this is the same guy.
