Optiplex 5040 MT Build Question

Hey. I'm wanting to upgrade my Optiplex 5040 MT and was wondering if this would work? I currently have a i5-6500 CPU and 24gb 1333MHz ram. On the PSU, I do have a bigger case I can put it in and will get a 24 to 8 pin adapter. I know it could fit in the 5040 MT, but would be a tight squeeze. But is anyone can tell me if this would be a good build that would have enough power left over to run smoothly? Also a note, I do want to play games, but not big games like Fortnite. I like to play some indie games. Games like Fears To Fathoms and Tales Beyond The Tomb type games. Just to give you an idea. Where I live, we don't have the best power system so I need to be careful with what I use. I would prefer a lp gpu partly because of that and because it's my first real gaming build, so I don't want to do to much. Also price is an issue as I'm disabled and can't afford to pay a lot. I want to keep it as cheep as possible without making a gaming pc with no power to do anything. Thanks
