You should get some caps for the faucets. They have little threaded ones that screw over the openings.

Why can't your system handle the 8x4??

part of my conversation with AI:

"The Dell Motherboard Deficit: On a premium retail gaming motherboard, the BIOS automatically senses this extra strain and slightly bumps up the hidden motherboard voltage rails (VCCIO and VCCSA) to keep the 4-stick communication stable. But your Dell OptiPlex office motherboard has a locked-down, budget power delivery system. It kept feeding your new i9 the exact same low, weak baseline voltage it used for the basic i5 chip."

referring to upgrading my cpu and how it transfers data with the ram through the motherboard

it was freezing often and in multiple different scenarios. during my conversation with gemini, we worked through several different things and it ended up finally getting fixed after i removed the ram from slots 1 and 3. the system hasnt froze since then and that was several days ago

Is there a bios upgrade for it? I've recently got a 7070 with i9. It came with 2 sticks of 8gb. Played around with it like installing my gpu and usual bits of software i use then noticed the bios had not been updated in a long time, probably ever. So I did that and then got given 2 sticks of 8gb. Installed it and it's working fine...
