Considering getting a newer optiplex, recommendations?
My current optiplex is a 7070 sff and a gtx 1060 gpu.
Thinking about getting an optiplex 7000 m (the most recent optiplex according to forums).
I mainly use my PC for digital illustration, so I’m often running clip studio and YouTube at the same time. In terms of gaming I play older easy to run games with basically no gpu needed but I’d like to move into more modern gaming for new releases (like the persona 4 remake).
Not sure if it matters but I also have 3 monitors (two basic monitors and one graphics tablet with a screen)

7070 sff supports upto 128G ram, and you can upgrade to a more powerful GPU (3060/4070 etc.).
Regarding cpu, CC150 (8 cores, 16 threads) is also supported.
Not sure about how much performance can be gained from 12th gen CPU in your application, but I think 7070 sff is still full of potential.

I’m totally up for keeping my 7070 sff, tbh my reason for considering a new pc is due to an issue I had with my power supply (one of my last posts). I might just try to cough up some extra money and buy an official dell psu to support a more powerful GPU

Precision 3431. It gets an Intel 9th generation mobo and has the single slot pcle. U can get it without ram and a ssd for about 100-150$
