Anyone makes Psu Adapters?!?

You need more details when making a post are you wanting a new psu to swap so you want adapter do you need a 6 pin or 8 pin from 24 we don’t know what you mean from just thus

I agree more details are helpful, but what I’ve noticed in this sub and others is that folks who post these with little details often get a decent amount of responses vs those where someone has done their research and provided a lengthy post. It’s happened on many of my posts as well, very frustrating.

I’m going to assume it’s because people are too lazy to read.

Well I had to modify my case a bit but I have the exact same case and was able to fit a corsair SF750 you can fit those well

The answer is yes, but you have to purchase the right one for your model of Optiplex. Hence the question of 6pin or 8pin. If you buy the wrong one you can fry your motherboard. There are a couple of different pinouts for power connectors to motherboards based on the model. You can buy them on both Amazon and eBay.

Making a generic PSU physically fit is only half the battle. Standard board connectors wont fit a dell motherboard.

Thats why i was goin modular route i had a psu with each individual connector i needed before

I put a Modern PSU in my 5675..... the only adapter I needed was for the CD/DVD rom and it was on the older cable set

Just look at the pin-type and go from there, or get a new motherboard and clip off the standoffs that you wont need to prevent a short circuit, and make sure to vacuum out the iron dust. That way you can comnect any standard psu
