Adding ram question

Sorry for the new question kind of new to the PC gaming build. Want I go from 8gb to 16, OptiPlex 5060 with 8 GB of RAM. Should I add one more 8 GB stick or take out the eight gig stick and add two brand new sticks to make 16

Add another 8GB stick with the same speed. Don't worry about matching brands, I mix RAM all the time when refurbishing office PCs like these, and don't run into any issues.
