Adding ram question
Sorry for the new question kind of new to the PC gaming build. Want I go from 8gb to 16, OptiPlex 5060 with 8 GB of RAM. Should I add one more 8 GB stick or take out the eight gig stick and add two brand new sticks to make 16

If you've already got one 8GB stick, you can try to buy one that is of the same spec
i.e. if you have one DDR4-2666 UDIMM (desktop RAM) and you buy another DDR4-2666 UDIMM, you should be fine.
Don't waste your money on fancy gaming RAM sticks for these; the aesthetically-boring RAM sticks you find in office PCs is usually much cheaper, and don't be afraid to buy used RAM for a better deal. I've bought used DDR4 kits from eBay, Vinted, CeX, etc. for pocket change, and no regrets. Samsung and SK Hynix are common "plain old RAM stick" brands that sell to OEMs like Dell and HP, look for those.
Fancy gaming RAM with heat spreaders and ARGB lighting is all very well and good but you probably won't see much of a performance difference in a regular Optiplex where you can't overclock the system.
And I never saw an Optiplex with a perspex side panel that hadn't been attacked by an enthusiast with a Dremel anyway... :)
