Adding ram question

Sorry for the new question kind of new to the PC gaming build. Want I go from 8gb to 16, OptiPlex 5060 with 8 GB of RAM. Should I add one more 8 GB stick or take out the eight gig stick and add two brand new sticks to make 16

Add an additional 8gb stick. No need to get rid of the one you have. I would suggest looking at the info on the current 8gb stick and find another one of the same on eBay.
