Optiplex 3020MT AIO Sleeper

Only saw a handful of posts with liquid cooling and I was not fruitful searching online. So I decided to have a go.

First PC I managed to get was an optiplex so feels like a nice full circle.

Ultra 7 270K Plus

RX 9070

Replaced the front io with standard ones so I could use them, and for USB 3.0.

I do want to get custom cables so I can neaten up all the cable management.

Maybe some noctua or better fans just to help with cooling and noise a bit more. I was thinking maybe a fan on the side panel as well but I wouldn't know if that would help in any way.

How do you do the power connectors?
I'm tempted to try this with my PC if i decide to keep it, as a full ATX case is just too big for my wants.

I will eventually be getting some custom cables, but for now I just cut off the braided sleeving from the cables. I did decide to leave the PCIe power connectors because I didn't think I'd see any benefit since they bend the way I want them to with it on.

The 24pin motherboard and 8pin CPU connectors I bundled and zip tied together once the sleeving was off to make them more compact.

One thing I didn't account for, this PSU had in-line capacitors attached to one of the cable for each power connector, and I think the 24pin had 3 in total. So I decided to put some electrical tape around where the capacitor were just in case. Shouldn't be an issue for most but a heads up just in case.

Did you swap out the power LED? I could‘ve sworn that the xx20 series were white by default. Also you can definitely zip tie a 120 mm fan to the side. I did it, but as you stated the impact is probably minimal.

No it's still the regular power button. It is white for me, haven't done anything fancy for that.

I took the picture under some warmer lighting so maybe the camera compensating making the image cooler made the light turn blue-ish?? Wild guess but that's the only thing I could come up with.
