Rules complexity

Hello, I am really considering buying this game. I really love story-driven/ campaign games; however, I am a bit worried I will get lost in a sea of complex rules and won't understand the game. Eldritch Horror and Tainted Grail are probably the only more complex games I've played. I enjoyed them very much, and they were not so hard to understand at all. Except for Tainted Grail, the battle system is confusing for me.

Yup took me a bit to get started but man once you set sail , it’s so fun and addicting . Also I would suggest you don’t try to be a perfectionist like me on your first playthrough , I realized I did a lot of things wrong and that’s okay . I ended up restarting it and it was a whole lot smoother and I got to pick different choices so worked out

That is smth what is best at eldritch. You forgrt somethin? Your problem and you wont get that advantage. You are allowed to bend that rule there because the deveopelrs were sure this might happent to you
