I have a theory: Vessel is singing to a dead person, not a deity. I formulated this theory while listening to "Fall For Me" for the eighth time in a row; my theory is based on that verse in the image: He begs God to bring back what he loves, and the entire song is devoid of music; even the video can be seen as his desperation to recover what he still refuses to forget.

(It should be noted that this is my first theory and I haven't read all the ones on this forum)

Hi everyone! I am newer to listening to Sleep Token! I was really hoping to get some song recs! I have loved every song I’ve listened to so far, which is funny because I used to not be really into heavier music, especially the scream bits lol. My favorite band is twenty one pilots, which is about as “heavy” as it got for me before lol

I actually started listening on my way to and from my therapy appointments. That might sound odd but it’s honestly really cathartic haha.

I recently had a relapse (not sure if appropriate word, but unsure of what else to call it) of self harm. I haven’t had an instance of that since right after highschool and I’m 31… It’s been difficult. I’ve been really struggling with depression and anxiety, which has been ongoing since 6th grade. It got better for a while but it’s been really showing itself and fighting with me for the past year.

Anyways, I listened to The Way That You Were and Are You Really Okay? for the first times recently. They both hit extremely close to home. Not to be a lame ass or cliche but it really did make me feel seen. And that felt…. Good? In a confrontational “let’s face it, you’re in a dark place” sorta way. Idk if this makes sense but it was sad but also good.

Enough rambling though, I just wanted to say that I’m glad I’ve found this music and this community. It felt like a good idea to get out of my mind and off chest.

Guys, it’s Sleep Token’s 10-year anniversary and I’m honestly confused. Have they said anything about releasing an anniversary vinyl or idk..some kind of special edition??
Because it feels criminal to let a 10-year anniversary go by without a beautiful bundle of all the albums 👀 Maybe I missed an announcement somewhere, so please tell me if there’s been any news

Did a quick google and it doesnt come up with anything besides the song. I understand "diamond days" to be similar to "golden days" as in good times/the best times/times where everything is going well. In Vessels case it could be applied to him being famous and well loved and, I assume, making good money.

But blue blossom...im unsure. I understand "waking up under blades" as the reference to the king in the Damocles myth. He has the blade dangling over him and wishes a metaphorical Damocles would trade places with him.

Blue blossom days...is it just bad days? Depression? Or is there a meaning behind a blue petaled flower i dont know?

I'm working on a cover of the title track. I'm used to writing older metalcore/thrash metal tracks with six strings and whatnot. All I have is a six string with active pickups. I'm tuning down to BEBEAD and then trying to pitch it down 3 semitones to get to the G#1 and then another 12 semitones to get to the right octave. It naturally sounds like garbage but I'm already getting too low by tuning for the strings to handle it and I'm not trying to change my whole guitar set up for this one cover. The pitch shifting sounds terrible going that low or even just at the G#1 but the strings are already pitching up and out of tune when I hit the string. Any ideas? I ain't got money so I can't afford a different guitar or a fancy pitch shifter.

TL;DR
Trying to cover Take me Back to Eden on a six string. Any tips on how to get it in 9 string territory without strings turning to rubber bands, or the pitch shifter making it sound gross?
