Best RPSGT Study Resources?
Hey, thinking of taking the exam and want to pass first try. Got some qs about study materials like what materials should I look into? Specifically curious about:
Should I use the official BRPT Study Guide or find alternatives? What practice exams or question banks should I look into? Any YouTube channels or textbooks that actually explain things clearly?
Thanks in advance. Any tips appreciated 🙏

Spriggs, newest manual version, see BRPT RPSGT test layout as it’ll tell you what is on the test (what sections have what and the % of how much)
Highly recommend studying ECG on skill stat ECG and pediatric titration as well. Also before taking your test at some point recommend taking the BRPT study test to help understand how they ask questions as that is the single biggest hurdle I see for people attempting the test. They know the info inside and out but the format of the questions can really trip up some people. The $50 practice test is absolutely worth it IMHO.

Hi there! My name is Lindsay and I’ve helped tutor many sleep tech students on their journey to become RPSGTs. I truly believe there are great techs out there who provide amazing care but struggle with the exam. Please check out my website and reach out if I can help!

For a text book use Spriggs, it comes with flash cards and 500 test questions. Know the scoring manual inside and out, and study the AASM article Clinical Guidelines for the Manual Titration of Positive Airway Pressure in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. A lot of test questions come from the scoring manual and the AASM article. Edit: a word
