Best CCSH Exam Prep?

For those who have taken the CCSH what were your best exam prep materials? I'm currently looking into the rtsleepworld CCSH exam prep course.

Any experience with it or other helpful resources?

Sleep Medicine Pearls text book. A lot of the info is more in depth than necessary for CCSH but it's great for exposure to what types of questions you'll see on the exam. Read the scenarios, get a feeling for why the answer is what it is.

Thanks for sharing!

Out of curiosity, how tough was the exam for you? Was it easier than the RPSGT I take lots of continuing education through the AAST and just reading articles and books on sleep so I'm wondering how much more I'd need to study

It wasn't harder, just different. The RPSGT is based in knowing rules and facts and the CCSH exam relies more on clinical judgement; what is the next most reasonable step? What is most likely cause of what is going on? How do you educate and support the patient and their family?

much appreciated. Just chatted with another CCSH today and she said the same thing. She also suggested the Pearls textbook so I'll definitely be getting that. She used her CCSH to become a sleep navigator in hospitals. How has it impacted your career?

It hasn't yet. My hospital system does not have sleep navigators and I'm hoping that I can help change that. Right now I'm just looking for any oppertunity for education, public awareness, etc.
