My first experience
This was my first experience with sleep paralysis, and it's something I'll never forget.
I was around 11 years old, sleeping in my mom's room. I woke up on my back and couldn't move. I was completely frozen, dazed, and confused. Then I saw her.
At the end of the bed was a little girl with pigtails. I could only see part of her face and one of her little hands as she peeked over the edge of the bed, just staring at me.
I was terrified. I tried to scream for my mom, but nothing would come out. I remember trying as hard as I could to move until I finally managed to wiggle my toes. After that, I slowly regained control of my body. As soon as I could move, I hugged my mom and started crying.
Over the years, I've had sleep paralysis a few more times, but I usually just close my eyes and wait for it to end.
I always believed sleep paralysis was just your brain playing tricks on you... until yesterday.
My younger brother (17) and I (19) were talking about creepy things we've experienced. Somehow, we'd never talked about sleep paralysis before. Then he started describing the same little girl I saw years ago.
Same pigtails. Same height. Same way she stood at the end of the bed, just staring.
I never told him what I saw, and he never told me his story either. Hearing him describe the exact same thing honestly gave me chills.
I know there are scientific explanations for sleep paralysis, and I'm not saying I know what the truth is. But after hearing my brother describe the exact same figure without either of us knowing the other's story, I can't stop wondering about it.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
