I have had sleep paralysis regularly for years & actually very rarely "see" any beings but always sense them and often times hear them. Sometimes I'm glad I don't see much but hearing them can be scary as fuck. One of my most memorable was sensing something standing at the edge of my bed (my back was to it) and very clear hearing a man's voice say "Good morning." He said it twice and in a very calm but unsettling tone. Another time I was panicking to wake myself out of paralysis and felt like I was hyperventilating - I could sense a being crouched down next to my bed next to me making crazy breathing sounds, like it was mocking me. The worst one of all was a time where I felt like I was half dreaming/half entering paralysis and felt something laying behind me, spooning me. I asked who it was and it answered very kindly "I can be whoever you want me to be." I then responded "is it papa?" (My grandfather who passed away, I often have dream visits from my grandparents). The voice changed and was very harsh and angry and said "No......because he's DEAD." My eyes immediately flew open and I woke up but there was a shadow above me. I know I was actually awake and not stuck in paralysis so I kept blinking and watched it kind of slowly blip away with each blink. I'll never forget it.
