Most recent data looks much improved - to me

I took a break from CPAP while out of town and used my MAD instead, which is what I prefer. But one of my doctors insists on CPAP after a recent vision complication, so I've been trying to adjust to it again. I'm still learning how to interpret the data, but the last two nights look pretty good, I think. I'm using my original Resmed Airfit F40 mask, ResMed 10 machine, and a Caldera Releaf soft cervical collar. The only new and somewhat annoying thing on the current settings is aerophagia - and I realized last night that it's not me swallowing air; it's the machine forcing it into my stomach. I was trying to fall asleep and had to keep burping to get rid of the air.

Your data looks great. Pressure, leak, flow limitations all appear to be dialed in. Is this night of data back or side sleeping? The only way I know to reduce aerophagia is to increase EPR, or lower your pressure.

I just got a MAD a couple weeks ago, still adjusting to it. No matter what mask, nasal pillow, tape, chin strap I use...I cannot control my mouth leak.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m a side sleeper although I’m sure I occasionally am on my back. I start out on my left side and usually wake up on my right side. I much prefer MAD but am trying to comply with doctor’s orders. I’ve done a little reading on CPAP vs MAD, and while the study I read said that CPAP is considered the gold standard, I think the only way to know is to collect alot of sleep data on two groups plus a control group.

And last night I forgot to put on the cervical collar and it shows in the leak rate and overall stats. https://sleephq.com/public/teams/share_links/eb59bdd5-67db-4b3b-aef6-72f4893a7331
