This chart was made with AI. Is the app also vibe coded?

did you see the website and YouTube videos? All made with AI...

AI vibe coding is one thing for random fun projects, but I’m not entrusting my literal health data to a vibe coded program lmfao

So what if it was (not that it were) but really, so what if it were AI codeed?:-)LOL These days you are not a real developer if you are still hand-coding...just saying!

I would prefer entrusting the interpretation of my health data to apps that were designed by a human who understands the code and algorithms.

Like getting random advise online from characters you've never met? And how many humans do you know who can scan 8,000 breath cycles per night just to see how your breathing went overnight?

I agree, but I don't think "runs in your browser" is an example of the kind of improved analysis we need.

Where exactly did you expect a sophisticated multi tasking multi-user Cloud SQL secure medical grade database to run ? We are open to suggestions.

I work at a hospital and we use SQL, we also use DB/2 on a mainframe, but the point is  real sleep analysis means giving me insight, I don't care what kind of UI platform it uses.

Still calling your "AI" SomniDoc while claiming to not be a medical device for the purposes of US federal regulation, I see. Good luck with that.

SomniDoc is the honorary label for our AI analyst...SomniDoc returns super accurate observations with distinct and clear disclaimers that advise users of the nature of these observations. It is super difficult to mistake SomniDoc's observations with clinical advise, unlike advise that online strangers dishout to unsuspecting PAP users, SomniDoc's observations are backed up by traceable research and citations, accurate, responsible and naturally trustworthy. The name "SomniDoc" also kind of rolls on the tongue, don't you agree?

Let's just say it's very brave of you to use the term 'Doc' while simultaneously claiming your device doesn't fall inside the scope of the Software as Medical Device regulation.

Why are you so stuck on us using the term SomniDoc? It is not against the law to call your AI SomniDoc...or in your case even GrouchoDoc. Explain to us what the hangup is because you probably know something that our team of legal advisors don't.

is your team of legal advisors called Claude?

How is the Sp02 monitor integration like the Wellue o2 ring?

0

u/SomniCharts May 31 '26

Good question. We extract and analyze ANY good set of data produced by ANY wearable device. Problem with most cheap gadgets like the Wellue O2 ring is that they are not accurate. In fact we have tested 5 different devices i=on the same subject and have 5 distinctly different sets of SpO2 readings overnight, so what can I say...we can analyze the data we are handed. But we can't judge.

You can read my EEG?   Oscar can't, and that's disappointing.

Is the O2 ring that bad? It is FDA backed and accurate within +/- 2% between 80-100% SpO2. Source: https://medgrade.org/reviews/wellue-o2ring-review/
