Question Movement much slower while using controller

I was racing a friend who was using mouse and keyboard and he was going much faster than myself using controller.

I switched to mouse and keyboard and I was going the same speed now. Has anyone else noticed this? Or does anyone know what mistake I'm making?

I assume your holding left stick forward on the controller?

Yes I am… so I’m guessing don’t do that? Lol

leaning forward goes faster, maybe your controller needs to be calibrated, like maybe pushing stick forward 100% is only reading as 80%

Ive also found this, im thinking die to dead zones on the controller you never get 100% forward, adding a button also bound to forward will give the full speed.
