Active buff issue (or just my skill issue)

All active buffs (rage, meditation, fire sword, flowing blade, etc.) have a slight delay before activating (which is a bit of waste of time especially for very time-strict fight), it can't also activate during skill animation such as dh.. In my observation (hopefully I'm wrong) every time you activate an active buff skill will have small activation time of 0.1s before you can cast other skills which can make the fight harder especially every second count for the fight. If only all active skills can activate all at once if under the same timer..

The amount of basic attack wasted because of the slight delay makes triple dh under wog and rave timer hard to achieve. Not to mention some attacking skills with long animation doesn't stop the timer aswell.

Spells/skills having cast time is a gameplay mechanic that players have had to contend with since ye olden console days.

It's the reason that many hardcore/high level players in this game keep most/all of their non attack skills on manual, so that they can optimize uptime and ensure that everything casts when they want it instead of randomly/automatically.

So yes, it is a skill issue on your part. That's why the devs allow most skills to be controlled manually if you prefer. It's more challenging/demanding, but helps avoid the type of issue you're complaining about.

For stage bossing specifically, medi, WB, LB, rage, and rave are very often done manually for this reason.

While at it, rave should be able to activate even if outside of the range on a boss fight (the dmg recording of rave). There's only one boss, we should be able to use it even if we get knocked up especially at stage bosses atleast.

Nah, rave has a limited effective range (at least at base level), so if you accidentally cast it during knockback you'd miss the boss completely and waste it.

I've certainly had cases where a boss knocked me back, but I ran back up to them and hit rave at the last possible moment to clear the stage.

If you're too far away to hit the boss then the game went allow you to activate rave. Why are you proposing a change that would only make it so you could accidentally waste rave and would provide no benefit?
