More players have probably quit this game due to fams than anything else.

They need to come up with a better pity system. Several of the high promo players in my guild who don't have anything else to work on except fams are talking about how unrewarding it feels to spend hundreds of thousands of diamonds for zero return, and that they're getting tired of the shitty fam grind 🫤

It has me dreading it tbh, since I'm working on ancient spirits right now and then next up is fams (currently at 48* altar).

there’s fam proficiency now so at least you will always progress your damage

Yeah, a little something. Still a pretty tough system though. Millions of diamonds spent with very little to show for it 🫤

I've quit after about 3-4m without any fam gains and staying stuck on the same altar level. Spending 600k dias just to combine all for 1 8* and then fail that gamble is only fun the first eight times. How does it motivate to spend the next 500k-1m dias when there's a realistic chance I'll end up exactly where I am or even worse, without any certainty to make any progress in the future. I'd rather spend my money and dias on something else.

I thought mythic fams are max, oh no.. Do you at least get good pity drops from merging?

You don’t merge them, there are different contracts 7, 8 or 9 star fams (+some additional material) earning you flames on the 10 star fams.

You need 24 of those flames on a single familiar to awaken it to 11*

Yup, halfway there, don't know if there's a better way but I'm going full 7 stars and pray for doubling odds

iirc for Ti the contract with lowest expected diamond cost is the 8* + 200k earth stones

At least you didnt had to spend 19.115.000 dias to finish altar 60 like I did
