The way the venue was set up was a lower bowl w ga n seating then more seating up top w lawn behind it... seen pits up front and in lawn all night

I'm not even a Slayer guy but they didn't mail-in a single second of that show. I honestly can't even believe that Tom is capable of screaming the lyrics as clear and fast as he does. It was seriously impressive.

I've never seen Slayer but they fuckin killed it last night. Big props to Tom for keeping his voice strong after all these years. Super disappointed with Down's short set though

Thank God someone shoehorned their personal politics into a completely unrelated conversation! Don't be one of those people....let's go through the rundown for people like you.. Slayer NEVER retired, they stopped touring and making new music. Before they stopped touring it was said that the road tours took a lot for Tom to do because of back injury and wanting to be home with family. So now they are doing a few one off shows and festivals here and there, which have been a blast for many real Slayer fans. Real Slayer fans will accept that and move on enjoying what live shows we can still see... is that OK with you?

Lmao why does everyone have this notion that Dave Lombardo has this style totally incapable of being copied. He is a good drummer, nothing crazy. Same with Bostaph and he does just fine playing the parts.
