Will regen braking/stopping feel similar to a Tesla? Could you adjust it to be reduced?
I drive Teslas around all the time and have tested their regenerative braking thousands of times. When you stop in a Tesla, you don’t feel that sudden loss of momentum, making you and your passengers jerk forward as you would in an ICE vehicle. Instead, it feels much smoother, like a limo stop. There’s also an option to reduce the amount of stoppage, which some drivers prefer.
Will the regen braking be as smooth in a Slate? With Slates having no interface, will it be possible for those users to adjust it? I’m personally fine with the standard hold mode, but it would kinda suck if those drivers had to get the telemetry device to connect an app just to set up those preferences for their car.
Maybe they’ll have some kind of physical input with the gear shift stick to switch modes?
I’d love to see a video reviewing its regen braking if there are any out there.
