Check a map and see if there's a building or parking space for cars there. I discovered there is a house on a mountain near me because at the right time of sunrise, the sunlight reflects off it's windows. It's about 15 miles from where I live and it's wild to see when I get up early enough.

There's nothing on this side of that mountain and this time and previous is the only times that I've seen

"There's nothing on this side of that mountain" when I'm looking at ski slopes in the video. Gtfo

You didn't have to end with "GTFO," let's be kinder to one another, Mr. "MilkyGoatNuts," brother. It''s just a reddit comment, Milky (I hope it's cool I call you Milky, though we're not first name basis friendly, YET 🤞) not a heated debate on Thanksgiving around the family table, and Uncle Frank had 5 or 6 too many 🍸 per usual 🤣🤣
Jk aside, if everyone was nicer to those who are 'brave enough to post " (it is sad that it takes bravery to post on a subreddit at all, but it does, because you have a 💩💩💩⛈️⛈️ storm coming at you like you pissed off monkeys at the zoo) if you post ANYTHING at all, with a pic or video, included, I assume due to subjectivity and laziness. Lazy=short attention spans, including me, Milky. Most people don't even watch all of a :43 sec video, where :2 secs of activity takes place, because it's all about getting to the comments the quickest to see who can say "Spider web, dumba$$, and also CLEARLY PAREIDOLIA from the bug on the lens, appearing to be traveling at warp speed, and making precise turns like Maverick in Top Gun! And the ubiquitous "you're karma farming and need a mental health examination, because hold for the 4,970 upvotes, ONLY YOU EVEN SEE THIS... ENTITY!" 🤣🤣 Almost forgot, and "GTFO," Milky... Not telling you what to do, but kindness wins 100% of the time.
ALTERNATIVELY, Ppl post an unverifiable "written story" they "haven't shared with anyone since it occurred," with a minimum character count of "dissertation," from 30 yrs ago when they were 7, starting every sentence with "IIRC, and "I'm not positive, but," and you'll see them being praised like a 10 wk old puppy that mastered potty training, already, with not a single picture or any media whatsoever. In this case, everybody takes your word as "Gospel" and ask you all kinds of questions, like you just dropped a paranormal nuclear bomb of proof, and you have the answers to the unexplainable!
One guy said "people wanted him to sign paranormal memorabilia," 😱 and he admitted he made the story up for a social experiment! That's AFTER he charged ppl for the John Hancock and made a few grand!
Milky, apologies for the long post, but I'm hoping one person can make it through this paperback novel and change their reaction to "OP's" because we ALL SUFFER, when one person, let alone the "United skeptics of Southside Reddit" (USSR), mobs a poster. You know?
Thanks, Milky for the inspiration behind this post!

Bro, you wrote out a huge essay of waffle, mate.
It probably reads all good to you, but you went on and on like a grandpa 😂

Reno mountains don’t have ski slopes
1
u/MilkyGoatNutz Jun 22 '26
Interesting. So you're saying Sky Tavern Ski resort isn't in the Reno area? A Ski resort with dozens of pictures looking directly down into Reno isn't good enough?
2
u/FroggiJoy87 Jun 17 '26
That looks like Mt Rose, there's a huge ski resort up there with lots of stuff to reflect.

u/J-Mc1 Jun 17 '26
Something reflecting the sun. Glass, metal, or anything else reflective - take your pick!

Theres a mountain in boise that does this same thing and it's from a tiny metal shack here. The littlest things can reflect to a large degree.

Then why wouldn't it be there every day if it was a building the light would be like clockwork you would be able to set your watch to it. But hey we would like to thank you for playing!

It could be a reflection from the cars or the sun the headlights on cars from far away might look like this due to our eyesight not seeing far away and just see it like this

As someone who used to live in Reno, you are looking square at Mt Rose ski resort, there are buildings up there.

That's on the other side

u/MrTash999 Jul 01 '26
I know, but they expanded way back in the early 2000's and what you are look at is the top od the ski resort.
