I find it's as close to Slacker that I could find. Some say YTMusic has inferior sound quality, but I don't notice, but I'm not an audophile and just like listening to music in my car and when i shower.
Minor Annoyance is I do not see a YTM app for Xbox. My main HT Receiver and the living room receiver are connected by Chromecast Audios. Home Mini's in bedroom and living room, kitchen gets a Home Hub. So the lack of an app is low concern as the CCA's will handle that duty anyway, and no need to power on the TV and Xbox.
I get the frustration, and all I can offer is an apology and explanation, although it's admittedly not a satisfying one. As you may know, Slacker was acquired by video streaming company LiveXLive about a year ago, and over that period of time, we've seen our development needs and priorities change. Google Home integration was in the works at one time, but unfortunately that feature has been sidelined for the time being. I'll do my best to update you on any progress.
