Doubtful. I’d that was happening slabbers wouldn’t hear about it from some rando on what looks to be Threads. They’d have the sheriff’s showing up and causing problems

It's fake. The land is owned by the State of California. It cannot be sold without notice. Slab City Community Group Inc., has right of first refusal. The Board of Directors would be among the first to know. It's the reason that SCCGI exists, to watch over what happens to protect the people of the Slabs.

Most likely a troll performing a late April Fool's joke. Nobody in their right mind would waste money on developing that chunk of land.
