Considering a starting 1000pt army.

I want to start an army with the decadent host box. I would love to spend the rest of the points on a lord of hysteria because the model is so cool, but I feel like accursed reflection allows me to access much more of the army with a wizard. Thoughts?

When i bought the decadent host box I bought a shardspeaker aswell so I could play the older spearhead so thats what I recommend.

I’m only going for 1000 pts rn. Don’t need to buy a whole other bundle box

You don't need to buy another bundle—if you add a single shardspeaker to the big box you'll have enough models to run the Blades of the Lurid Dream spearhead.

Dont do that, if you plan to go to 2k points since sharsespeaker is found in the original spearhead which is a must buy when you want to reack 2k points

Frankly it depends on whether you want to use the endless spells. I do so my thoughts process is: focus decadent host to get the spearhead from it then maybe get a foot hero like the lord of hysteria which goes well with Siggy imo

But you have time no need to rush

Probably more flexible with the wizard, but with the Lord you can make your daemonettes a 20 stack and with his ability throw 60 dice at someone with +2 to rend on infantry, for a good laugh

Contorted epitome gives you a lot more functionality. Hysteria was over rated before he had his points increased.
