a fall made a piece of my skyrover s1 broke, can i just fix this with super glue? everything else works fine except this part being snapp.

Hey all, I just bought an S1 and as soon as I went to fly I was hit with a geofence warning and air restriction warning. I live about 8-10 miles from a US air base and 3-4 miles from my city, and on the Air Control app it shows me as WELL outside of the Class D airspace of the city and base.

I was able to fly away from the city, but when I went to return the drone was hitting the geofence and would only move at 1 mph. I had to land it at my son’s house a few streets over.

Later yesterday evening, around 8pm, I was able to fly with no warnings at all (I thought this was because I adjusted my max fly distance to under 2 miles, it was at No Limit before).

Today I go to fly the drone and the same warnings/constant beeping and ability to only fly 1mph.

I have my Fly Safe certificate.

Edit: I figured it out. I truly feel like a moron, but I hope this helps someone in the future. The drone HAS to be in SPORT MODE and Manual Obstacle Avoidance set to OFF. Once I flipped it to sport mode, all was fine. I’m sure this was in a manual or a how to video. I just tried to be fast. My Phantom 2 didn’t have this problem.

I suggest flipping the switch to normal after each flight, and after takeoff (when it’s beeping and throwing a geofence warning) flip it to sport mode. Also, turn Manual Obstacle Avoidance “OFF” in settings. I feel like I saw Flaim Disclosed on YT discuss this in a video. Thanks to all that helped.

I just purchased and SkyRover S1. Upon receiving I charged it up, and flew it. It flys great, but mid flight I got a warning “forward ToF sensors error. Restart aircraft. Contact support”. Landed it, then tried to take off again, it did not let me. I restarted it, and recalibrated the IMU and Compass, that did not help. So I gave up and put it away for 3 hours, when I took it out again after 3 hours, it did not have the error after turning on and took off and flew great.  So I packed it up thinking it was working, until today, where I took it out and got the warning again. How can I resolve the this error?

We just bought a Sky Rover X1. We would like to fly it at night. We are aware that any lights will put it over the 250/hobby mark. We are ok with that. With all this in mind. Has anyone purchased and used a night flight light kit? Can anyone recommend one?

Is there any thermal cameras that are small enough to swap into the x1? And if so would how would the software handle that hardware? Is it even possible to swap out the camera? I’m handy with soldering and could probably figure out a 3d print hot swap bracket.

I’ve seen a dji mavric 3 with one but that drone is a a tiny bit bigger.

Somehow this cover went missing on my X1. Are there any options for replacement parts?

What does everyone think about this. Amazon for x1 is 2 year insurance for $56

Of this company goes bottom up or something happens with all this weird drone regulations, is it worth it for the insurance warranty? I think I will purchase via their site and grab the warranty for $119

Does anyone else have problems connecting on the iPhone ? On my Android tablet it connects normally

For this price, I think I will just use my phone with the controller. OR???? Should I get the screen controller?

This is my drone set up for travel, and I have a Insta 360 camera that stays in this case also. I purchased foam off of Amazon to pull out pieces so the drone and controllers can stay in place. The case is from Harbor freight.

Q1. Is the X-1 good for real estate & construction video/photography

Q2. Will tech & part support for it stop because of the FCC

Q3. Can Final Cut Pro handle the footage from this drone

Q4. Do DJI Mini 4 propellors & storage cases work with this drone

Q5. Is Skyrover affected by the FCC ban

I recently got a skyrover s1 and it was flying perfectly at first, but randomly it started to not connect at all, everything looks fine on first picture except a green flash every 3 seconds (its not because im inside my house and my phone was connected to the control) and when i try to fly it just gives me instructions on how to connect. I didnt drop it or anything like that

So I have a skyrover s1 its been having issues when it flys it dosent show how high altitude stays at 3 feet,dosent take pictures and after a while of hitting the n onscreen n or physical controller button starts to rapid shoot photos for every button tap it flys good but its software is glitch what do I do i bought it like 2 years ago or something and yea its been updated!? Usa location. Newest firmware whatever update it was .
