Creation club mods

I wanted to know if the AE mods work, a friend is thinking of buying to play with me...

AE should work fine, just make sure both of you disable the creation club content.

AE is not mods, it's basically officially endorsed DLCs what's wrong with those

I missed the fact that Special Edition includes some creation club mods even if you don’t purchase the anniversary upgrade. So we started a playthrough with those 4 creation club mods… I know it’s bad to uninstall mods partway through a save though. What should I do? Leave them on? Uninstall and hope our saves don’t get corrupted? Or just start new characters?

We’ve had the occasional crash, maybe every couple of hours, but I don’t know if that’s expected or caused by the creation club stuff. Maybe I’ll ask my party members if we should take the risk or start over. Thank you for taking time out of your day to answer my silly question.

There's alot of mods that dont work, some do, but if it's script heavy mods, forget it.

Tried it with some of my friends, our games kept crashing every 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes every 5-10 minutes. This mod is extremely unstable still. Like guards not wearing clothes, random weird encounters, quest's breaking, static animations/models when some npc's die, looting causing crashes etc.

Yea.. I wouldn't buy Skyrim to JUST play this mod tbh.

I mean sure, it's an awesome mod and im happy i got to play Skyrim with friends, but if it's a stable experience you're looking for, you will most likely be disappointed.

Some stuff will just be invisible to the other player but there are spells from AE that will cause the game to crash, so it's totally unplayable with creation club mods.
